A lip mousse is a liquid lipstick and these re the ones that we're loving.It complements every lip shape and tone.Our own Indian makeup brand Lakme has launched their own line of lip mousse Lakme 9 to 5 weightless mousse lip and cheek color.This is basically a dual purpose product,you can use this as a lip color as well as a cheek color.The range contains 10 shades ranging from soft nude shade to deeper shades.Today il give my review on one of my favorite shade Plum Feather which suits most of the skin tones.

Texture and smell.
Lakme 9 to 5 weightless mousse lip and cheek color has a creamy mousse kind of texture.
They are quite pigmented,2-3 swipes give opaque look.It takes at least 2 minutes to dry out to give a matte finish.They dont have any shimmer.It smells like artificial vanilla.
How to apply.
Swipe on the weightless mousse with a foam tip applicator brush by starting from the center of your upper lip.Work from the center towards the outer edges of your lip,following the contours of your mouth.Glide across the entire bottom lip.Apply a second coat to deepen the shade and give your lips a powdery,matte look.
To add a soft blush to your cheeks,dot the mousse under your cheekbones in a half moon shape and use your fingertips to blend.

It comes in a rose gold tube and metallic screw cap.It comes with a petal shaped wand applicator which has a well in the center,so once you glide it on your lips,if there is excess product it just comes out through the well in the center.It has a nice pointed tip so that you can easily do the edges and the corners.The name of the color is mentioned at the base as shown.
As i am a lipstick craze i have a good collection of lipsticks and lip mousse.'Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Lip and Cheek Color, Plum Feather' is one of my favorite shade.its a mixture of pink and plum.Its best for office wear.Its also suitable for festive season.
It lasts on my lips for around 5 hours.I applied it on my cheeks just a couple of times,it did stay for long.
It covers my pigmented lip completely.Gives a matte look.
I remove it from my lips using baby wipes.
